The Enchanted Forest

Within our stomach, a great wild and vivid forest shelters the life of millions of microscopic creatures. Each of these tiny beings works in harmony through sequences of organized contraction and crucial gurglings, to extract sugar and nutrients, the essential source of energy for our carbon-based existence.
The coordination of this wonderful machinery is only possible thanks to an assembly of dedicated cells, orchestrating the ballet of digestion, by sending messages to the rest of the stomach. This kaleidoscope shows the miniscule world of the gut-brain in action.
