Blood Ultimatum

In crime investigations, understanding how blood spatter patterns are created is often a critical task.

This image is a sequential collage from a high speed video (4000 frames per second), where the sequence captures the various stages of the blood droplet splashing into a small pool of blood.

Experiments such as this enhance the understanding of blood splatter at crime scenes.

The vision of this research is to implement this understanding into a mathematical model, which will ultimately allow efficient and controlled simulations of different criminal scenarios.
