Micro-electro-mechanical (MEMS) is technology which deals with very small electronic components, often between 1 to 100 mciro-metre (1 mm = 1,000 micro-metre) in size. At the heart of the MEMS circuits a tiny pressure sensor can be seen. The sensor can be used to conduct biometric recordings in wearable technologies.
