Movement in Bloom

Movement in Bloom
Triana Karnadipa

This piece features brain pathways segmented into movement-related tracts that naturally resemble a vibrant, colourful flower. The myriad of colourful lines forms delicate, petal-like shapes. These tracts seem to bloom and shine with life, symbolizing the brain’s role in movement and growth, blending science and art in a radiant display. I’d like to give special thanks to Associate Professor Alan Wang for supporting me in this competition, and to Mishaim Malik for their help and support during the creation of the image.
